He's not ducking Concepcion. Nobody would duck him. He's not a real threat to any solid B level fighters and he has a ton of flaws.

So far, I'm 100% in predicting the fall of Pinoy prospects. When I'm correct about Concepcion, I hope you will remember what I said about him even before the Ruiz fight.

 

umm, i don;t think that was ducking. he passed on a fight against concepcion for a title fight against de leon. you can;t blame him for choosing to fight a world champ rather than a prospect.


anyway, the biggest blasphemy in this thread is when you said he has the skills of my boy gerry penalosa. he clearly does not. he is lightyears behind gerry in skill

dude, you clearly said he is as wide as de leon and as skilled as penalosa. he is not. you didn't say he was as skilled as penalosa when penalosa was 20. you just said he is as skilled as penalosa now you are backtracking and saying that he is not as skilled as gerry.

i really don't know what you see in concepcion's movement because i see nothing similar to penalosa. again, concepcion is not on the same page as gerry. gerry will beat this kid if they met even at 122.


don't get me wrong pac d. i like concepcion. i think he is a good kid. give him 2-3 years of good fights and he'll be ready for a title shot. i have been long wanting to see him against boomboom. concepcion is still a little bit raw. i am utterly against feeding our young fighters to the lions. like what happened to boomboom. i'd say wait 2-3 years before getting banal or concepcion into title fights.
