    God damn it!

Perhaps, Hardy underestimated Condit as Hardy was the best British MMA fighter, and condit was no one. Anyone think that was a lucky a punch?

It looked to me like Condit got in a couple of cheap shots after Hardy was cleary knocked out. :fire

Hardy is aggressive but now he has found out he doesn't have the chin to be wreckless. When you trade, this is the risk you face. Hazlett did it with Daley and Hardy did it with Condit. In a trade off like that, someone has to come off better.

I don't think they were cheap shots. The ref could have jumped in as soon as he hit the ground but he didn't because Hardy had his head up and was trying to pull his legs up for guard. Condit was precise with his GNP and ended any chance of recovery with the first shot and the 2nd was in motion when the first landed.

Wasn't a cheep shot....Hardy wasn't out and you keep fighting untill the ref stops it. If Condit didn't jump on Hardy and he got up...the fight went on and Condit got beat, they would be killing Condit for not taking Hardy out when he had the chance. There was a reason Condit was picked by most pros to win this fight....He is a very good fighter, and he proved it last night.

I dont wanna hear anything about underestimating Condit. If you take Carlos Condit lightly you are a moron and dont belong in the big fights in the UFC. The guy has good hands, good knees, good kicks, good Jiujitsu, a great chin and awesome cardio hes very game. Condit's resume sure as hell of alot better then Hardy's with fellas like Trigg, Charuto, Alessio, Larson, Ellenberger, Prater and MacDonald and the long run as WEC Champion.

Dan Hardy is the perfect example of antipathy that is the UFC. He's got the Mohawk. The stupid bandana across his face. The tattoo's. The big mouth. The brash attitude. And he's from "Oop Norff".
The only reason why the UFC give this guy the "push" is because he's British. Personally i cant stand him or his act. Im glad he got KTFO.

They weren't cheap shots, it's down to the ref to stop it. I was really upset for Dan but it happens in MMA, he'll be back. Just shows no matter how confident you are in your stand up anyone can get KO'd in this sport. He didn't underestimate Condit either, Condit was just a better fighter and I'm pretty sure Hardy himself would admit that.

I didnt see the McDonald fight but how in teh hell did Condit get in trouble there? He seems to have an Iron chin coz Hardy tagged hig solid a couple of times early and he took it.

    Boo Hoo.

There was not anything lucky about it, he was winning the round, and threw the better punch, then he followed up with two shots on the ground.

Hardy's power has been VERY overrated lately. ill admit i didnt see him getting KO'd last night but it happened. Condit is far from a "nobody" if anything i would rank Condit above hardy by A LOT in rankings (present AND all time)

there was nothing lucky about the punch condit landed, if anything they both hit each other at the same time and hardy's power just couldn't cut it.

What? Condit has had a much more respectable career than Hardy, who only got his title shot because of his image and nationality.

Condit is simply a better fighter than Hardy, and he always has been. He should not have been the underdog.
