I think your looking at it all the wrong way. Boxing is not natural in anyway to your body so you need to adjust.. It seems your either over thinking or a bit misguided. With regards to bio mechanics you need to think about movement. Now you can argue for hours the best movement in boxing and really there is no right or wrong answer. The facts are your body needs to adapt to the skills needed to box.. You have to train your body to deal with the physical demands. Although bio mechanics and human kinetics should be considered really you need to think out of the box..I'm not fully getting your points as your saying. Words with no meaning.. Yes will only see differences at the top level. It's that extra 10%.. Every sport is moving for Analysis.. Player development and S&C. It needs to be made simple. There could be 2,3,4 ways of being right.. What's good for one might not be good for another. Trial and error always the best way
Because they were fighting other fighters that didn't have S&C coaches so it was a level playing field. Science had moved on, research has improved. The way these fighters trained is out dated and not going to have you the fittest you can possibly be. If you are fighting At he top level 5% improvements in your strength and conditioning can win or lose you world titles. What boxing trainers do you know that have been to university and studied body mechanics and sports science based subjects? If they haven't then how can they fully know what he body is capable of and how best to bring it out? They will have some knowledge based on their own personal experiences but it won't be rigorously based and tested on scientific reserach.
A 3 round fight could be tougher than 15 minute fight depending on the intensity it is fought at. The length of the fight would affect the energy systems used by the body, therefore a S&C coach is key to training each system with the correct balance. Just because you fight 15 rounds doesn't make you "fitter". Mo Farah isn't "fitter" than Usain Bolt. They are both immensely fit, they just focus on different bodily systems.
It's not as simple as that. Someobody Who is lacking in aerobic conditioning would fail to adapt adequately to such a training regime without first developing a decent aerobic base. Yes I agree with that but there is better ways to do that.. I think to simplify if done the right way a S&C coach can improve stamina, strength, Power, Speed and this would all be done understanding how the body works and adapts. It means that a fighter can be pushed harder with less chance of over training or injury.. I think it's more needed at the top level as it may only give a fighter a extra 10% but it's that difference that can win titles..
