That's the thing you're not ignoring the others....... bench works shoulders, chest, and arms. Powerclean works everything, squat works all your legs. Dips work your triceps.

doing these movements with light weights is completly useless, unless they are incorporated in some kind of conditioning circuit.

15 reps, your asking for hypertrophy.

I don't see how that's going to increase your cell count...... I'm pretty sure my coach knows more than someone on a forum.

So why ask on a forum? Just dump the computer in the garbage and speak to the all knowing oracle coach :bbb

People sometimes forget that results may vary from person to person.

There is no magic number of reps and sets and whatnot. It's not like if I do sets of five and the other guy does sets of six, that I will see results and he will see nothing.
Now, there are some guidelines that "generally" work, but the real truth is,
workout hard and you will see improvements. As for what works for you, it will take some experimenting and a lot of dedication...(or perhaps one of those exercise scientists can hook you up to some machine or something.)
Any absolute advice that says things like, "this many reps, this many sets or nothing!" does not account for much, because you can easily find another person, just as seemingly qualified, who will tell you something different; but, with just as much conviction.

I'm pretty sure i know more about strength and conditioning than your coach, just like i believe RDJ knows more about nutrition than your coach.

Mackie Shilstone, Ross Enamait, Joe Defranco, Mike Boyle, Alex Ariza and a ton of other strength and conditioning coaches will agree with me.

I HIGHLY doubt this. You've just been throwing terms into your posts that have nothing to do with matter.

Causing hypertrophy in some muscles and not in others will cause muscular imbalance. Some people think biceps are more important than other muscles, some think the shoulders deserve hypertrophy. In my opinion they're all stupid. Don't isolate and do as much sports specific exercise as possible.
