I was thinking about an idea that if you do your stamina (running) 2-3 miles and some other cardio then go straight to spar. Would this help simulate being tired in the latter rounds??? I think it would help it going to sparring tired and going against someone who is fresh. What do y'all think ?

That doesn't work out well, and I have seen it tried many times.

The running will help but to get in shape for fighting, in those later rounds, you gotta spar. And spar hard.

You’ve got your answers above this post… remember boxing is a mind game… don’t let yourself take unnecessary punishment coming into the ring wrecked from a run just for the sake of conditioning. If you must just go do 1000 burpees or something later.
Before you spar you warm up that’s probably it… afterwards do what you want but what you’re thinking is a bad idea IMO as an internet quarterback and @Rockin1 is right you get in fighting shape by fighting.

Seems like a crazy idea liable to get you hurt bad - you’re going in with your legs cooked from a run, dehydrated if you were really running (God knows I never do LOL) sounds like a recipe for accelerated brain damage… also wouldn’t he mostly cool down anyway? He still has to gear up? Wait his turn etc…He’ll just be dehydrated with dead legs… suppose he could run in his gear? LOL.

I’m not sure could you tell me? I’ve heard some theories that the fluid in our brain prevents us getting concussions but that when we are dehydrated there’s less and it makes it easier.

The fluid actually surrounds the brain.

    Theories of truth.

It’s been written you cannot fully rehydrate after being dehydrated for about 4 days afterwards.
