You know better than that @Shadow because you know boxing. Anybody can be hurt. Canelo was not able to walk through Floyd, Bivol and Lara’s punches. What is being missed is that it’s the punches you don’t see coming that can really **** you up. Also don’t be surprised if it’s body shots that drop Canelo. He thinks Bud has fought nobody and if he thinks he wins because of his size and power he is in for a very rude awakening.

He did fail a drugs test so that will always be a stain on his record. None of the SMW he fought and beat is as good as Terence Bud Crawford, none have his instincts. Bud has not just earn undefeated fighters he has destroyed them. Canelo not wanting to fight David Benavidez or avenge his loss against Bivol is highly troubling to say the least and speaks to his motivation.

I wont block you over a difference in views. Lol. But I do think you’re the one who’s in for a surprise on fight night. We will see though. I hope it’s a good fight

I agree that Crawford's awkwardness and unpredictability will present challenges to Canelo. Bud has had a wonderful career but this is his biggest test. We will find out how he will perfrom under the brightest of lights.

Crawford isn't going to be fighting Clenelo at walkaround weight he has to lose close to 20lbs to make 168 and he's going to rehydrate back up a certain amount of weight after doing so. How much remains to be seen but watch a bit of this, look at how lean he is at that weight, and ask yourself how much difference an extra 5lbs on that frame would make. He looked like a anorexic greyhound walking around at 170lbs over five years ago and given how lean he looks at that weight and how solid and not out of shape or remotely bloated in the face he looks walking around at 186 an extra 5lbs will be nothing

If he weighs 5lbs more than he weighs here, and he may come in even heavier than that, he will weigh 175lbs to Clenelo's 178-180.

Are you saying it won’t be a surprise if Bud wins?

That is all completely true but Bud is a between 147-154er. He is not a MW let alone a SMW. That much will be clear fight night.

And notice how little power Bud had against a 154er. Notice how Bud arguably LOST because he couldn't change Israels game plan...normally Bud gives away rounds, makes adjustments, and his power neutralizes opponents and makes them change their game plans.

It didnt happen versus Madrimov at 154 and its not happening versus Canelo at 168.

Canelo no longer takes fights against guys who might beat him. He goes after “named” guys who he is a 95% chance of beating. He’s a resume padder these days and Crawford is not going to beat him. It will be a replay of the Charlo farce.
