That's what I thought at first but Stiverne has confirmed he's fighting Breazeale on November 11th on co main for Wilder's fight.. Wilder's opponent has not been made official but I'm positive it will be Ortiz and will be announced soon.

Stiverne doesn't think Wilder Ortiz though so hmm.

Miller is also said to be in the undercard so shaping up to be a good card.

I've heard some things.. It's not 100% concrete but i knew a few days ago that Stiverne got paid step aside.

Breazeale wins and finally sends Stiverne in irrelevancy forever.

I hope so, although Breazeale is truly terrible as well so I don't think it's a done deal.

Breazeale has dug deep and came out on top. He has enough skill and the reach to outbox Stiverne.

I don't think Breazeale could box himself out of a wet paper bag. Every fight he has is reminiscent of that Simpson's boxing episode. He just gets pummeled.

I'm expecting Bronze Bambi to announce his announcement concerning this matter soon because he must feel jealous of all the attention Floyd-Conrad is getting.

    UPDATE

Eddie Hearn had AJ vs Vlad 2 booked for Nov 11th at Las Vegas Tmobile arena.. And I've heard other rumours that Hearn has made a deal with Wilder to fight Whyte on that date at Tmobile arena.

I've only heard it from one source so can't say it holds any truth.. But then again Stiverne mentioned the fight could take place in Las Vegas and he said Wilder wasn't going to fight Ortiz.. So who else could it possibly be? Ortiz has been guaranteed a shot at AJ so it makes sense for him not to risk losing that position.. And Wilder's fight was initially meant to be on Nov 4th at Barclays.. But they've changed it to Nov 11th so who knows.

I'll reserve judgment until I hear something more definitive.

But Wilder passing up Ortiz even after being freed of Stiverne... Well, that would **** me right the **** off.

Take it with a pinch of salt.. But Wilder and team approached Ortiz last week (I actually made a thread on this before stating "Wilder will be making his announcement imminently" I was told they were close to making the announcement but "APPARENTLY" it's Ortiz's team that are reluctant..

For once Wilder was trying to make the fight.. But Ortiz would rather wait for AJ's payday. That's what I've heard but then again I've also heard the fight has been finalised with Ortiz and they are just waiting to announce it after May v Mac.

Well, as Pulev is apparently delaying the Joshua fight, perhaps Ortiz thinks there's a chance Joshua will opt to fight him (Ortiz) over Pulev.

    Personally I doubt that.

Stiverne should stop Brezeale, but it will be a tough fight, and I think he'll be ruined by the time he fights Wilder next year.

Suprised Breazeale would be anywhere near the same card as Wilder after what happened last time.
