I doubt it, even if he loses there are some big fights out there for him still.

 

Hope this is right.Be a big win for Carl,all the pressure is on Bute,he finally has to deliver against a world class fighter.I see Carl stopping him.

I have to respect Lucian Bute for taking this fight especially in Nottingham. Regardless of the outcome this will do wonders for Bute's credibility. Will he succeed where Pascal did not?

I'm sure Froch could do with a warm up fight, but Cleverly wouldn't be allowed anywhere near him right now as his 0 is no doubt seen as far too marketable to lose.

There is absolutely nothing in Cleverly's choice of opponents to suggest that he'd go anywhere near a ring with a man of the quality of Froch in it.

Just them on their choice of opponents, not words. Cleverly has said he wants Hopkins for his last, what, 2 or 3 fights?

 

i think clev should fight enzo next and settle that score then move onto the world scene, the enzo fight is a win win for frank and its one the british fans want to see. Also he needs to clear up domestically before he moves on hes beaten bellew,macintosh,fry and the best in europe now sort out enzo mac then chase the legends and the mega rich pay days.
He doesnt even have to fight them straight away he could go over to america and ease into a couple of quick fire wins againts half decent opposition then fight someone like cloud or pascal then try and get a dream fight with andre ward when he steps up to 175 i honestly think the dawson fight will be hopkins last and he wont box again.

 

Errr Cleverly is a ''world champion'' and I use that term very lightly and your suggesting he fights Enzo then step up to world level??
