Wicked fight. Gorman is way more skilled, its the size and power of Dubois that makes it interesting....War Gorman all the way !

I really wanted Joyce/Dubois for the British title but I guess this will do as an alternative.

Interesting fight. Gorman is the more skilled but he's physically out matched vs Dubois. Usually I'd favour skill over brawn but at heavyweight things can get interesting when one punch can change everything and Gorman's reach is T-Rex like at 73", giving up 5" in reach to Dubois and his hard jab might be too much.

I think Dubois comes from behind to win.

Love to see this. If Gorman can get into shape and weather the potential storm, his skills pay the bills for me and he sends Dubois back to the drawing board.
    65-35 Gorman.

Dubious takes this once Gorman gasses
There was no choice other than to make it now before Gorman really does get left behind
Gorman is a c version of ruiz imo
    Where is f w a n k putting this on Stevenage ?
    Stadium fight after all

I’m going to go Gorman points, he is hittable though but he’s got great punch variety and based off no evidence just a hunch but with him in with a big puncher I think we’re going to see him using his skills more.

Also people saying DD has the better gas tank that hasn’t really been proven yet.

Maybe this is why Warren made the fight, Dubois is not ready for Joyce but for marketing reasons can't be seen to be avoiding him.

    Love that match-up. :ggg
Prospect A vs Prospect B, instead of Prospect A vs pushover and prospect B vs pushover.

Great fight. Respect to both of them for stepping up since neither of them needs a loss at this stage in their careers.:smile:

    Good bout.
Gorman does look more skilled but I reckon Dubois looks more primed and takes it with his reach and punch power.

So seldom seen anymore-----early heavyweight prospects fighting each other. Anymore it seems to be the riskiest fight managment will take with their prospect.

Both the winner and loser deserve a ton of credit for signing up for the match that we the boxing public like to see & seldom get.

Great point, Dubois can seem to have a good tank but swinging and missing will drain him, as will chasing.
I do believe boxers like Dubois are ten-a-penny in sparring. He is strong but that just ain't enough.
Gorman will expose him to a degree I think, unless DDD get's very early success.
My theory is that Dubois runs out of ideas and get's some tutelage, if not a comprehensive schooling.
