Beat him good ? what fight were you watching the first 5 rds were all brooks who was beating Jones good! 7,8,9 and 12 a clear rds for Jones, 6 ,10 are swing rds or can be viewed as even. and 11 was a brook rd where he outboxed Jones To me 6 was even as brook dominated the first half of the rd bigtime, rd 10 i gave equal but even if you score 10 to Jones he loses 115 -114.

Saldivia would be JTFO by most top bantamweights.

 

I much prefer Brook though Devon is an awkward fight for everyone not named Mayweather. He seems to have the stylistic advantage in this fight but you never know, Kell's accuracy and power could grant him the win.

Can only hope Kell isn't on the end of another Alexander's trademark robberies, especially with the fight being in Alexander's backyard

 

Anyone else think this break/delay is an advantage for either guy?

Although the new venue is closer to home for Alexander I think it favours Kell slightly. He has only been working with a nutritionist & S&C coach for one camp, there is more room for improvement above the conditioning Kell achieved for the Saldivia fight.

Kell is naturally the bigger man & these extra few weeks should help him to be the bigger, stronger guy in the ring & those physical advantages could be critical. Alexander's clinching & inside game are more refined than Brook's, Kell needs to be strong enough to push him off & keep the fight at range to stop Alexander spoiling after he falls in.
