I think its a good comeback fight in terms of credability. ***an can hit a bit and he'll come to win. He gave Paul Spadfora an excellent fight and also the last loss he had was very contoversial. I'm good friends with ***an so i've sent him message to ask him what the crack is re this fight. I think Khan is a different class in terms of boxing ability but when your chin has all the structure strength of a sandcastle then there is room for an upset. I'd give him a better chance then most based on the fact Khans coming back from the KO loss and ***an will come to have a row.
Well its worth a couple of quid. I think its very difficult to make anyone a favourite against Khan because we all know how good he can be but I wouldn't be suprised if ***an was to make things difficult.
You also have to take into account the ref doing Khan a favour..... I was looking for it against Prescott to be honest - well in fact he was allowed to carry on after being decked when most wouldn't have been. It reminded me a bit of Lewis vs McCall but worse..... He was helped in the Drilzane, Limond and Gomez fights as well.
There are quite a few dodgy wins on there but I think thats due more to his location then his ability as proved by the close losses at top level to kinborough and spadafora
This could be a good fight and is decent for Khan to come back with. Never seen ***an fight but he is ok, good enough to cause a KO upset if he does not get stopped early himself. Fighters usually like a gimme when they suffer a first defeat so Khan going in against a guy with a winning record should be commended.
:rofl there one against some lad called jeff thomas. absolute bum apparently he could fight his way out of a paper bag........................HAHA
Seems the info on ticketmaster's site was accurate then. :good I mentioned ***an was listed as Khan's next opponent on here yesterday.
Jesus Christ Jeff! I never even knew you were Irish! ***an's split decision loss to Spadafora doesn't look too bad (despite it being 2007 Spadafora). Could give Khan a bit of bother.....or could get KO'd in the 1st round. I would not want to make a definite prediction for this fight. No complaints regarding the matchmaking for this comeback bout, although another unbeaten South American banger would have been better
hartley??...andrew hartley?? then less than a year later on to world title challenger spafadora....thats some jump in class ...and of course esb legend jeff thomas
Supposedly his manager in the states was a joke and couldn't organise a **** up in a brewery, he'll definately give Khan a few problems just like Gomez did in the early rounds of their fight.
