Agreed! Barker is a smarter boxer than Macklin and employed a game plan against Martinez which involved him not being drawn into a war, unfortunatley Martinez figured him out and dashed dazzling darren's plans, Macklin is likely to have gained a lot of courage from the way he fought Sturm and employ similar tactics, which will play right into Martinez's hands, this ain't going past 4 or 5 rounds imo.

I just see this as another pay day for a british fighter, their's no way macklin walks away from this a champ tko or ko early rds!

 

Average british fighters are getting way too many pay days latley. European champion should not be enough for boxers to get a shot at a world title they should at least face sombody in the top 3 of the division who aint got a 'title'.
