Confirmed Pavlik vs Mora this Summer. Who the hell wants to see this???

Since Pavlik won the strap, He's defended against Rubio, Lockett and now likely to be defending it against Mora.

NONE OF THAT is cause for concern?

 

Arum is as he might see "low-reward" written all over it...btw, are you member of Zuniga's management? To me Zuniga is not much better than Jantuah was when he fought AA...

 

This fight is a joke and the only good thing about it is that Mora will be brutally KOed.

I don't say I don't wanna see it but there are PLENTY of other MW fights Pavlik could be in starting with Abraham.Ghevor,Duddy or Sturm could all be better options.
I will watch this but I won't like it except seeing Mora get hurt.
Problem is Mora has a style that could put problems to Pavlik.

 

I did that a while ago and I don't like to repeat myself. The only opponent Pav fought which is higher skilled than any of AA's opponents is Jermain Taylor (I excluded BHop, because that wasn't a middleweight fight).

 

Duddy is moving down to 154 and Sturm? I just cut your list in half. And there weren't enough people criticizing the thought of a Duddy fight? People have a one track mind here. Fight Abraham and move up. Period. No one left at 160 after that so he should just give up his titles. Then they will scream about unification. atsch

 

Well, you have to count the Bhop fight. It was a much tougher contest under the circumstances and the 'learning curve' counts.

 

Who has Pavlik face when he defended his title huh? Lockett? Rubio? And next up Mora? And you actually defending that?

 

I highly doubt a guy who took on Taylor, beat him after getting up off the canvas, rematched him and then moved up in weight to fight the best at LHW is "scared" of anyone.

That is what makes this fight all so damn confusing.

 

Even if Pavlik isn't scared, his management is...

 

Ghevor gives Pavlik a fight anyday and dare I say it maybe have good chances of beating him.Sylvester would be good too.There are fights.Fighting Abraham and moving up would be good too.But it doesn't seem likely in this lifetime does it.

 

Don't you think just maybe Pavlik is afraid to lose again badly? Pavlik could do what Cotto is doing and that's stand up be a man. Cotto could have face Cintron but decide to fight Clottey instead.

 

Miguel Cotto is a little different. We're talking about the same guy who got hammered to bolivian and wanted a rematch afterwards.

As per Pavlik's management being scared, I don't know about that. I just think Arum understands the risks with Pavlik (he fought a great name in a clunker of a PPV and got embarrassed) and is trying to avoid them. Welcome to Bobby's World.
