Fairplay to Eddie getting Quigg that fight, bet Carl Frampton is kicking himself.

Barry's greed will be Carl's undoing.

Even if Quigg wins the fight he won't be a world champion

Agree, he wont be Ice but to be fair we have no genuine World Champions at the moment and rairly do.I`m a massive Froch fan but he`s only a bet holder and if Quigg wins it just makes him an iffy beltholder.Hopefully it will be a good fight and the belt is a decent bargaining chip, but some people will get fed up with it being called a world title fight and fair enough but it`s not a new problem the wbu nonsence of 10 years ago was just as bad and in many cases was even worse.

    That's great work from Eddie.

Whilst I rate Quigg highly I still think a little step up fight wouldn't have been a bad idea although I often am critical when there are too many of these so can't please everyone!

It's just that Quigg has been quite inactive and really his best win is over a past it Munroe so he is pretty lucky to even get the shot. If he wins and Frampton gets a belt too we could have a BIG unification fight!

wow thats big, Quigg actually has a chance here too...Macklin and Purdy were considered quite big underdogs by some. Surely not the case here, though Quigg could have maybe done with a fight to keep sharp in between. As said though there can be too many of these so good luck lad!

Anyone know anything about Salinas? A winnable fight for Quigg?

by the way off topic but just what is 'Vcash'? What does having more of it accomplish, if anything?

Because its for the WBA regular belt, Rigo is still WBA Super Dooper Champion

His boxrec looks decidedly average, not fought anyone of note and most of his wins against people with half and half records. Unbeaten in 21 fights though and the Cubans generally have good basics, see if I can get some footage of Salinas...
