Round 1 Trout 10-9 AT consistent jab to the body and hard lefts on JC wins him the round.
Round 2 Trout 10-9 Close round, AT far more active and cleaner work, JC heaver shots.
Round 3 Charlo 10-9 JC lands big right early hurts AT, AT almost steals it back, outworking him in 2nd half.
Round 4 Trout 10-9 Close, AT outworking him with jabs to the body. Charlo heavier shots.
Round 5 Trout 10-9 JC rocks AT early, Austin comes back to outwork him rest of round.
Round 6 Charlo 10-9 WJC was working the body throughout, but Trout had his moments.
Round 7 Trout 10-9 AT countering well and outworking him throughout, JC closed well, but too late.
Round 8 Trout 10-9 Trout outjabbed and landed his left more than Charlo landed his straight right
Round 9 Trout 10-9 Trout's left snapped Charlo's head back a few times, Charlo had his moments.
Round 10 Trout 10-9 Landed better counters, Charlo landed harder shots but output has dropped.
Round 11 Trout 10-9 Trout landed the better combos and straight lefts cionsistently throughout.
Round 12 Trout 10-9 AT landed solid right hook that caused JC to stumble, and outworked throughout.

Fine, I am a fan of Trout, so maybe I was too liberal I'll admit but....

117-111 116-112 115-113 for Trout will do as well. But he won the match, there's no debating it.

The fight was almost Garcia-Herrera like with Trout pecking away with nagging jabs, one twos, uppercuts and occasionally landing straight lefts outworking him for much of the round but doing little damage, and then Charlo lands 2 or 3 bombs most of which were partially blocked, due to the exemplary defense of Trout. I personally don't think 2 or 3 bombs erase an entire round of activity, especially when said bombs weren't all that devastating. The fight was scored based on anticipation of a KO that never came, and belief that it was only a matter of time before old shot to hell Trout folded, well that moment never came, people started realizing it halfway through, and scored the last half of the match for him. Its a pity they were so keyed up for the first 6 they didn't realized Trout was doing basically the same thing during them.

Jermell Charlo vs. Austin Trout 12 Rounds @ Light Middleweight

Round 1 Trout 10-9 AT controlled range well, landed cleaner shots, Charlo flurries late, missed most.
Round 2 Trout 10-9 JC very tentative, threw next to nothing, Trout picked and pecked him apart.
Round 3 Charlo 10-8 Fairly even round aside from BS knockdown that was actually a slip/push.
Round 4 Charlo 10-9 Near even round again, Trout slipping most JC shots, but fought too negative.
Round 5 Trout 10-9 Once again, low output from JC little clean, Trout looked scared, but still landing cleaner.
Round 6 Trout 10-9 Trout let his hands go, slightly hurt JC, it was a headclash, Trout's best round by far.
Round 7 Trout 10-9 Trout landed far more, nice uppercuts and worked the body of JC throughout.
Round 8 Trout 10-9 Charlo charges out with messy flurry, misses most, AT closes stronger, with sharper work.
Round 9 Charlo 10-8 Clear rabbit punch, another BS knockdown, but strong JC round, he hurt AT a few times.
Round 10 Charlo 10-9 JC comes out aggressive, hurts AT, AT bounces back, but hurt again, JC finishes stronger.
Round 11 Trout 10-9 Good round for Trout, consistent throughout with body work and two beautiful uppercuts.
Round 12 Trout 10-9 Trout closes very stronger letting his hands go with combos and uppercuts. Nice finish.

114-112 Trout

113-113 is fine as well, but in no way shape or form did Charlo deserve the win here.

People's preconceived notions that Trout is fragile, combined with their assumption that Charlo will eventually land the shot that puts Trout to sleep, combined with Trout fighting with a slightly defeated look on his face and hyper defensive and negative as hell, and quite frankly at times fighting scared, colors their perception of what's actually happening in the ring. Which is Charlo is looking mean and vicious, coming forward aggressively, yet he's still tentative as hell and barely letting his hands go, as he says, he's economical, yeah, far too economical. Meanwhile Trout while looking scared is slipping, rolling with and parrying almost everything Charlo is throwing and picking and pecking him apart throughout. CUt the bull****, the judges here judged based on appearances and ring generalship, because if they actually judged based on landed punches and defense, Trout takes this, and if you factor in the not one, but two bull**** calls from the normally decent Reiss, Trout takes this **** wide. Austin has got to be the unluckiest master boxer in the sport. He should have wins over Canelo and both Charlo sisters.

Its such a tragedy a guy can beat not one, but two brothers, who are considered to be killers and P4P material, and not get credit for either. This sport and its corrupt officiating is truly sickening.

Well even though its not official, Trout, you're a beast and you're the ****ing man. And you deserve full credit for beating both.

Marquez got dropped thrice, and came back to fight to a draw with one card in his favor. The point is to hit and not get hit, Trout got hit far more infrequently than Charlo, and one judge who you know were biased towards Jermell, still scored it 113-113.

I mentioned that in the OP, but so did Paulie, he looks like he fighting scared and fights very negatively, meanwhile he's still doing enough to nick every round.

Yep, I'd like to see your scores for both fights, @PinoyProdigy and @JordanK2406 also both scored the match against Jermall wide for Trout as well, so I'm not an outlier, and @f1ght3rz scored the match last night a draw, with the bonus KD's, I scored it 114-112 to Austin. Trout should have wins over 3 undefeated beasts but instead he's viewed as a bummish journeyman.
