Congrats Juan Manuel Marquez for the 1st round demolision of Ramos! But lets not get carried away.....Ramos is much > cotto, margarito, hatton or even Clottey!

It was a walk in the park for Juan Manuel but fighting pacquio is totally a different story!

PACQUIO vs JMM! May the better BOXER win!!!! :good

Marquez annihilated Ramos because Ramos is a lesser fighter then Cotto and all you mentioned BUT he looked spectacular doing it showing once again that he still has something let. (Lost some of his speed :-( )
Only seen the KO part and a few seconds of him on the floor and i got the feeling he was rocked so bad that he just quit mentally or got KTFO.

Damn that was a hellof a KO, but the wholepurpose of this fight was to get himin shape for a southpaw, and 2 minutes of boxing won't really help adjust much. By the way I noticed JMM doesn't look old at all,he looked fresh and loose, fast too. Hopefully him against Pac willbe a good fight.

  5. this is bad for marquez. he should have gotten more rounds in. this is troubling.

I dont see how this could be seen as troubling.
Im not worried about the lack of rounds.

The guy has about 60 pro fights, decades of training and sparring behind him,and another few months before he fights Pacquiao.

He'll be as sharp and as in shape as he can be when he fights Manny

  7. to even have a chance against pacquiao he needs to be at his absolute best. a pro fight with a southpaw would have helped keep him sharp. he is also getting used to the new weight. this cant be good for marquez.

2009 - JMM knocks out Diaz at lightweight and moves straight up to 142 to fight Floyd

2010 - JMM UDs Diaz and knocks out Diaz at Lightweight

2011 - JMM Stops Ramos at 140 then is fighting Pac at 144 catchweight

Hes taking it slowly this time, I still expect Marquez to give Pac a fight though

I don't see Pacquiao stopping Marquez in the early rounds..., if you ask me Pacquiao is of course the favorite but I'll say he wins via UD.

There is going to be no KO in this fight, I see it being really close, I'm going to back both fighters on points

I expect Marquez to go the distance but get outpointed more convincingly. If a shot Mosley can give pac fits with head movements then I expect Marquez to counter and hit Pacquiao quite a few times but like the last two fights he is going down but hes going to get back up.

    Pac by very late TKO/UD
