    Wow, was that bad.

Wlad needs to forget about the rematch clause and retire. A big puncher would've killed him.

Wlad just couldn't pull the trigger tonight. The same thing happened to a lesser degree in the Jennings fight.

During the fight I caught myself thinking about Holyfield at heavy his last few years when he came into the ring in great shape, but couldn't pull the trigger.

I don't know...but I'd say that father time has caught up. As a Wlad fan I hate to say that.....Wlad had an amazing atg great run.

    I agree.

I think Wilder would have knocked Wlad out tonight.

Yep, Fury was by far the better man tonight and the scores were spot on. I'm pretty shocked. Wlads run was excellent but I suppose it had to end sometime.

I read an article a few weeks ago and I'm not that good at translating, but what I got from it was that Helenius' father (Helenius was in camp) said that Wlad was looking slower and not as fast or sharp as he usually does.

I didn't know what to make of it, if it were true, or if he was just talking up his son in a way....I think father was right..unfortunately.

I am looking forward to the rematch, but in order for Wlad to win, he is going to have to come out with an entirely different game plan.

Yup congrats to Fury. He did everything he said he would do! I couldn't believe it but reality is slowly setting in. Fury needs to go out and celebrate, he deserves it!

Wlad really should think hard about enforcing that rematch clause. He looks awful in there tonight, like an amateur at times when he turned his back thinking the ref would break it but didn't and Fury could tag him. Cringeworthy stuff.

Props to Fury....he made Wlad look old and slow.

I could have done without the singing but I guess we'll have to deal with it.

No rematch required. Wlad is done.

Props to Fury. He got it done.

Great run by Wlad, but no one's reign lasts forever and Father Time is undefeated.

Based on what? He beat Stiverne via a decision to get his belt, who in turn beat Areolla, fury on the other hand just beat the decade out reiging champ in his own (adopted) hometown and made it look easy
