First 2012 US Olympian (fourth 2008, 2nd 2004) to win a world title. After all of that hard work and toil as an amateur if anyone deserves it, it's him. Be a good belt-holder, champ!
There seems to be a wide range of opinions on this one, just like there was on the 1st one, I'll have to watch it.
It was a close fight. Everyone says robbery for any freaking close fights. Really, I thought Payano won it, but I don't mind anyone giving it to ****** or a draw.
I had W@rren up 8-4, but would have been perfectly ok with Payano getting a 7-5 decision. Plenty of tight rds where Payano was the aggressor, ineffective or not, Rau-shee was simply too economical with his combinations for ppl to warrant him the round regardless of the nonscoring, but at least thrown, shots from Payano. :good
W@rren earned it. Me myself i had it a draw, but i have no problem with 115-113 w@rren. He earned it tonite.
Payano lost the fight fare and square. He had no problem with the decision so why is all you haters whining. Rau'shee had him missing all night long. Check out the punches thrown and landed ratio, plus Ru'shee buzzed him real good in the eleventh round. Don't hate, appreciate.
For what, barely scraping by again, and getting an okay decision that could have just as easily swung the other way, he's completely worthless.
