    As per mainpage boxing247: The WBA have now stripped Browne and returned the belt to Chagaev

    After the cheating ways of Browne were exposed, the WBA stripped him officially and the belt returns to Grozny to Ruslan Chagaev :happy:happy

    I thought Chag had retired, so the paper belt is paper vacated as far as I know.

    A long time fan here, he should retire. Roided or not, if he's getting KOd by a guy like Browne, It means he's long past it.

    Nah, same thing happened with Toney/Ruiz.....when Ruiz "lost" he immediately retired, was given the belt back weeks later and went on as WBA belt holder
