Totally agree...I mostly hate draws, but this was pretty close.

Lets also congratulate him for beating the #31 ranked welterweight in the world.
it really seems to make up for not having a win in the last 4 years.

Uh mayweather still has the WBC belt, the real one. I had to check to see if he got rid of it because of the way they announced the winner too last fight they didnt say "and still" but ok yeah the "international" welterweight title. I forgot they had other random BS titles in addition to the "diamond" and "silver" belts. WTF really.

I only saw a little bit, but he looked faster then he has in his last few fights. He's still shot to smithereens though.

Not faster, but more active. He was dialing in that overhand right in higher repetition than he throws anything nowadays. (since Margarito)

    Good post!
I think a part of us want to see shane retire not because hes a shell of himself and now a ''good but not great boxer'', but for his own good. None of us want to see shane become like ali, toney and holyfield with the slurred speech and mental issues, especially with a classy guy like mosley.

That said, shane will go on for a couple more years for financial reasons - something which im sure he probably wont admit. The same goes for RJJ, Holyfield, toney, etc. I feel b-hop is another genre- a guy who would fight until 60 for minimum wage.

If Pac is too fast for Shane then it can easily be said that Floyd is simply too smart for Mosley. Therefore Shane couldn't have beaten Floyd apart from a devastating, flukey one punch ko (which could've landed on Pac as well). You explained it yourself - once Floyd figured out Shane the fight was over. Floyd plays chess with his opponents and wins. He doesn't just try to overpower or outspeed people like Pacquiao does.

Hope he retires, one of my favourite boxers, he should go out on top and not give Broner a chance to feed off his name...

I mean his NERVES are shot. He responds to all feints and motions at this point. He isn't relaxed at all in the ring.

Now granted, he never was a very relaxed boxer, but he's stiff-legged and jittery in there.
