it could be very one sided, but froch only needs to land a couple of big punches and it could be all over, just like against taylor. ward will want to engage a lot more than dirrell did.

Abraham has a clean and devastating natural punching quality that is a joy to behold. He will always be the dangerman in this tournament even if he is behind on points and getting beaten up. :good

Ward amazed me with his ability to completely confuse and nullify the top seed of the tournament. He had great movement, defense, jab, combinations, and unpredictable offense that made Kessler unable to get off.

A few times he was a little wild, came in open, and gave up his distance, and that could be dangerous against huge punchers like Abraham. If Ward tightens that up, he's my favorite to win this tournament.

I don't see why people believe Froch is a massive puncher

The point is I rate dirrel better than ward and look HOW dirrell HAD to fight to hang there with froch ? he basically had to run away 70% of the fight

He's not but he hits heavy with every shot all the time sits down on every punch and has a powerful jab

he's swinging to knock you out with practically every punch and that is why he stands a chance still against more skilled boxers

there's a reason dirrell got on his toes he felt how heavy handed froch was and didn't want no more of that

Ward should have been disqualified on the 4th or 5th intentional head butt, and Jack Reiss should be banned from boxing.

He didnt have to as when he engaged he came out on top, he was overly cautious. He deserved the decision but he gave the judges a reason to score against him by being negative

And I'm not sure why you rank DIrrell over Ward

I just know a great boxer when I see one and dirrell is one but ward I don't get the impression that he can go on to be an elite but I get that with dirrell

So...no disqualification, then, since there were no intentional headbutts and only two that Ward was even the "initiator" of?

Had he engaged more he would have been in trouble that is the point, you have to outbox and stear well clear of froch the entire fight or he will get to you.

Your full of **** and have never boxed

    1. It had no affect on the outcome of the fight, Kessler got schooled, its clear you only nutthug white fighters here but thats the grim reality for u
    2. Heads clash when Southpaws fight orthodox fighters quite often
    3. He comes in with his head low fast, it makes head buts more likely but doesnt make them intentional. I take you similarly despise Holyfield, Hagler, Bradley...
    4. This is a fight not a ballet contest

Well when he did engage late he hurt Froch and Froch still didnt land. KO'ing Taylor doesnt make you a monster Pavlik and Abraham managed it with more ease

Froch has overrated power, Kessler is a bigger puncher and more skilled with defense and footwork unlike Froch, and still couldn't do **** against Ward.
Ward will easily outbox Froch and maybe knock him out.
