Congrats to vitali on comeback win, peter was the first young genuine contender vitali has ever beaten....FINALLY...and congrats...he easily beat peter.

However....I was unimpressed by both fighters. vitali outclassed peter, but why was he fighting with his chin sticking out and hands at his waist so much? any decent fighter would have knocked vitali out. Vitali dictated the fight, made sam look foolish. his long punches found there mark through peters gaurd all night and he easily outjabbed peter.. but vitali did not impresse me at all as being a special fighter.

sam was awful, i mean god awful. and worse..without injury he quits on his stool relinquishing his belt(what happened to the peter who fought ferociously for 12 vs wlad??) a true act of weakness and lack of mentally toughness in adversity. I am classing up with BUD/s class 276 soon to become a Navy SEAL and the first thing they teach us is to NEVER EVER quit under adversity. Peter quit when the going got tough.

but congrats to vitali on a big win after 4 year layoff....perhaps i was wrong about the new heavyweight division. its more watered down than I thought.

Who are these guys you think would beat Vitali? These contenders aren't even beating Wlad, who's not as good.

Peter looked awful, as you called it, because his normal style was thwarted by Vitlai's fast hooks and jabbing, not to mention that brutal right that kept landing.

Give credit where its due. Peter was his normal self. Its that Vitali prevented him from being effective, even though he certainly gave his best.

well I think wladimir klitschko is much better than vitali klitscho in every department as a fighter other than chin.

Honestly I would like to see vitali klitschko take on a healthy ruslan chagaev, a good fighter. or even nicolay valuev a vastly improved skilled giant but i have some doubts on valuev. potvekin and haye in a year or two could turn into real good fighters and with there accuracy and handspeed, they wont have trouble finding vitali if he keeps his hands by his waist....do you not agree?

but there really arnt very good fighters out there......a very weak HW division compared to the talented big guys of the 1980s IMO.

Because he could. He saw right in the first minute of the fight that the fight was his.

Don't bother with Stoic. He's just ***** hurt over some comments before this fight I guess. He still hasn't gotten over it.

I agree with you on Sam. My God I just could not believe what I was seeing. I'm telling you. My 7 year old nephew has better form throwing punches than Sam Peter had tonight. Nobody has the right to make an excuse for him. Bad showing against McCline, nearly dominated by Wladimir just punching and grabbing, and looking pretty mediocre against Maskaev who we all know was a vunerable champion.

I personally don't ever want to see him fight again. I mean, it brought me back to Byrd-Williamson. That's how bad that was to watch.

That's how he always fights. It's hard to think of one of his fights where he doesn't have his chin sticking out and mouth open. He just gets away with it.

I've read your posts. You are always against the Klit bros, regardless. You have zero credibility. You are too predictable. Kinda' like Suge Nite.

Well you have not read my posts carefully enough because I happen to be a HUGE Wladimir Klitschko fan. My favorite heavyweight of this era. I love Wlad.

As far as zero credibility goes, I am in the United States Navy. I like to think everyone who serves there country has credibility. Who are you to say someone has no credibility?
