And new WBA lightheavyweight champion of the world. A fighter who will now make this stagnant division lively. Green has proven in the past
that he will travel to make fights happen, and he is a crowd pleaser to
boot. I think either showtime or HBO should sign green immediately, and as for tarver. Now he has plenty of incentive to fight green now. Of course since green is fighting at his true weight now, I like green by
brutal KO or a wide UD.

The Green Machine is really hardcore and extremelly pleasing to watch. I know he is to take on Antonio and like him by impressive victory. I was very stupid not to have bet on him cause people were sayin Drews this, Drews that and I admit not to have trusted Australian bookies... Still say that I would personally like him and the Viking Warrior at 175, just two tremendous warriors at these weight classes. A fight between two out of Allan Green, Edison Miranda, Jeff Lacy would be a thriller too. Calzaghe - Hopkins is a must and there are Bute, Dawson, JT and many more, the 168 -175 pounds divisions are not stagnant or I'll be damned... The Heavies and Cruisers suck of course.

Green vs. kessler would be awesome, but danny vs. allen green or edison miranda would be a slaughter.

Apparently Drews was awful but I'm happy for Green to get some success, he seems like a good bloke!

SO many good matchups to think about.

    • Erdei - Green would beat him
    • Clinton Woods - Great fight, 50/50
    • Chad Dawson - Great fight, 50/50
    • Glen Johnson - Great fight, Green wins (Johnson shot)
    • Tarver - Tarver is shot, Green KO
    • BHop - UD Bernard
    • Briggs - Aussie Superfight, whoevers chin holds up
    • Adamek - Green will mollest this guy. Too big for him.
    • Ulrich - Green murders him
    • Roy Jones - Green Vrs shot Roy Jones would be a great spectacle. -Green KO's pathetic version of Roy in 6
    • Mundine - Boring Mundine UD
    • Calzaghe - RIP Green
Green should probably bring some B grade sluggers out to AUstralia for a defence or two - people he can knock out and give the fans some action. Green can sit on his title for a couple of years and hype Aussie boxing up a bit.

What do you mean to big? :patsch

And why would Adamek fight at a weight class he doesn't want any part of ?

Is Adamek not at light heavy anymore? I havent heard about him in 6 months or so. But yeah, Danny is a very big, in every sense of the word, light heavyweight, I think he would have too much power & ring presence for Adamek. He would bully him around and smack the lanky, ugly ***** up.

Shutup Polish Pummler. Stalin understood well the worth of you Poles.
Adamek should bring himself to Challenge Stadium in Perth. There is a hospital in close proximity for him to attend after Danny Green makes him his *****.

Yikes a bit hostile there without me even saying anything.

Being 1/2 inch shorter and weighing nearly 30 pounds less doesnt make you bigger.:think

He was also a huge Super Middleweight, which is why he inevietably left the division. Now he is a big Light Heavy, and struggles to make that weight.

I wasnt aware that Adamek is no longer at LH.

There is nothing 'confusing' about my, comments, perhaps they are a little nuanced, possibly confusing an obtuse, pleb mind.

Put simply, Danny Green would be too strong for the thin-limbed, big nosed praying mantis Pole.

    Too strong?

What happened with his 3 losses at 168?Not strong enough?

Your boy just beat the weakest belt holder and the biggest ***** in the division.(Yeah Drews twice delayed a date with Dawson only to leave him hanging in the end to go after the very old and very beatable Branco)

Green fights no different than Briggs which we know what happened in those fights.

Congrats to Green - he will be a limited, but a very exciting and worthy champion. I'd love to see him fight Tarver next. Green would knock him out.
