It was all around a great fight to watch. Both doing a lot of sharpshooting with 2 punches in the first few rounds. Then it got heated up, and they started throwing more combinations, while still darting in and out. Great watch, and pretty left hook. congrats to the unified WBO and WBC bantamweight champion :good
Great champion! Montiel was outboxed most of the time but you could feel he was waiting for a big opening. Hozumi's movement and stance gave him some headaches, but with pawing with the jab more than he should've, Hasegawa offered that little room for a perfect left and Montiel timed and placed it absolutely right on button! And the NEW unified BW World Champion!
He is the darkhorse mexican to win 4 titles in 4 different divisions. Everyone has there eye on Morales,Arce,Barrera and Marquez to be the first mexican to do it, but watch out Montiel is more capable than 3 of the above 4.
