To be balanced, Eh Day Hearn is the king of mismatches - eg Tony Doshua v every opponent to date except Wlad and all those nextcan cards. Even many of the Sky PPV events are one sided dross (eg Kell Brook v Frankie Gavin) The Wlad ring entrance in Manchester following Tony Dosh beating Pudding Molina was the most cringeworthy ever - does anyone want to see AJ fight WK? The crowd silence said it all.
You know those twitter accounts are run by some virgin social media manager desperately trying to get retweets from idiots right?
Absoloutley pathetic Warren has a history of ripping fighters off and putting on terrible title defences as long as your arm. You ****ing "hardcores" who are too elite to support the "mainstream" Hearn are a joke
Hearn does put on **** fights sometimes, he also can be a bit of a duck head in interviews But Frank Warren has been sued by more boxers i can count for shady contracts. He threatened THIS website and got it so you couldn't even say his name on here, and was the chief orchestrator of the WBO "REIGNS OF TERROR" era in which british world champions won a vacant WBO and defended it at the MEN for 10 years against journeymen and eastern Europeans. You all claim Hearn is protecting AJ because AJ hasn't instantly fought wilder the second you wanted him too, yet Warren kept calzaghe and Hatton away from the best fighters in their divisions for the ENTIRE TIME they were with him. Content to milk Hattons "casual fans" year after year after year. Hearn has never as far to my knowledge been sued for not paying one of his fighters, and he's put on more good fights in 2 years than Frank does in 10 The anti Hearn agenda is just jealousy of success. Nobody liked warren until Hearn got big in the game.
I’m unaware of Frank’s history. Has he lost any of those lawsuits? Seems like if a court ruled that he didn’t pay fighters what they were contracted to receive, the BBBC would lift his license.
If Wilder vs Fury goes ahead next this is going to make snake Hearn really sick. It exposes his lies about not being able to make the Wilder for AJ for sure. Its also the biggest HW fight since AJ vs Wlad.
Why? It's a totally different negotiation you Muppet. Also yeah this fight is going to get people talking but there's gonna be major complaints after fury shoeshine wilder for 3 rounds then gets laid flat with one big right hand. Honestly this might even look like Audley vs Wilder 2
Well he did say biggest fight since AJ v Wlad which is true unless you have any better ones since then?
To be clear, this thread was not meant to be an anti Hearn or Warren v Hearn. I have bashed Frank when needed and praised him when merited - the same with Eddie. It’s nothing to do with Eddie, he’s doing his thing and largely delivering. I think many of us have forgotten that not so long ago the idea of Frank putting on big events and selling out arenas again was pure fantasy talk. Honestly, if I look back on the archives here I could be bring back up some absolutely stonking threads/comments (some from my myself included) that haven’t aged at all very well, basically signing off Franks promotional death certificate. Now that he has clawed his way back to this position, selling staidiums and delivering on his promises to his fighters and making large events etc , It seems the barrometer has changed now and some people instead of acknowledging that, N17 and co are moaning that Paddy Barnes got twatted, so it was a bad night! I don’t like Fury, but assuming nothing silly happens like one of his BS pullouts then this fight will be huge. Anybody annoyed by last night will soon forget and be taken over by hype.
I agree, and with Warren/Hearn making fights like this, it will pressure the other whoever that may be into making big fights which is only a good thing for all of us.
Biggest fight since Wlad vs AJ What fight since Wlad vs AJ has been bigger? The lineal undefeated champion vs the WBC champion. Thats huge
