He was the better man, different class Size wasn't a factor, Groves just out boxed him This was a far worse loss then the Saunders loss, in that fight Jr had many dominant rounds. In this fight he had none. Jr was a complete disappointment, I feel bad but tbh he was a fraud Jr said before the fight one of them was going to be found out as a fraud and it was him His star appeal will never be the same, but he will never beat a Groves I don't think. Groves is elite and in great form, no1 supermiddleweight in the world by a mile Don't know where Jr goes next, but honestly I don't care after that performance it was a disgrace. No warriors code at all.
He's not a fraud man. It's a lesson learned. He showed tremendous heart and an iron chin but was too wild. He needs to link up with a trainer full time. Mayweather or Booth.
He needs to reign his ego in. He has all the physical attributes but I'm afraid he doesn't have a boxing brain. And he never will. Quite simply he's not good enough and never will be
hahaha so what you think now? You boy is a fraud needs to learn boxing basics and he was with booth and when booth tried to give him advise he told him to **** of
100% he needs a tactics driven trainer, hopefully this humbling experience will mean he starts listening to other people. He also needs to move back down to middleweight. Can't fault the heart.
Groves went up a lot in my estimation tonight. He always been super talented, but he showed a level of maturity to his boxing he hasn't shown before. He might be past his best physically but he's made up for that by being more experienced and smarter in the ring than he used to be. As long as his shoulder heals properly he's the man to beat in this tournament now.
Why do people underestimate basic boxing fundamentals. Eubank has flaws, flaws and more flaws. Groves a class above. Quite easy work.
Its time to file Eubank Jrs career under Hype job. Stepped up twice, lost twice. Is only going to win against basic ***** level opponents, and cannot beat anyone works off a jab and is a boxer.
fair play to you, a lot would go hiding after that. I just think he needs a good trainer and to get away from the hype his dad brings. Hes a warrior and a good fighter, hes just lacking on the boxing side and will continue to get found out at the highest level until he addresses his shortcomings
Fair play J. I respect you for coming on and holding your hands up. I get predictions wrong all the time on here, I've made loads of similar posts. I wouldn't say Jr is a total fraud, he showed a lot of heart tonight, he is tough but he just isn't as good as a lot of people think he is, the hype, the snapchats, the 20 second clips of fights against limited fighters, the social media posts and it looks great but if you shut all that out and look at him then there are gaping holes on his game. I said this week, if Jr was trained properly from the start without Sr "training" him, posing around the ring while Jr is sparring, jumping in the middle of spars and basically setting him up for a fall then Jr would be a far better fighter. Jr needs to give Sr the sack and get a trainer who will push him, teach him and give him the advice he needs in the gym and in fights. Have Sr as an advisor or something but get him out the gym, he is doing nothing for him.
