Congratulations Pacman, you're a phenom. But now you're f***ed.

I never got to see the fight, but I hear he dominated DLH and got him to quit. The man is a phenom, and I seriously don't see how the PBF zealots could ever say that PBF was a better p4p #1 fighter than Pacman.

Pacman has him beat on name opponents, actual quality of opponents (where fighters weren't in the ring top 5 on the basis of one goddamn fight) and hell, he's even won belts in as many weight classes as PBF (something that the PBF zealots tend to cling on to), and this despite even skipping a weight class. And now he skips two MORE weight classes to beat what is still a very high-class fighter. PBF hasn't done anywhere NEAR that.

Anyway back on point: He won't stay at 147, quite obviously. But history shows that if there's one thing you really, really don't want to **** about with, it's your weight and the weight class you compete in. I don't know the biology/physiology surrounding it, but it really screws up with your body. There's a HUGE chance he won't be the same fighter going back down in weight, and the more he bounces between weights to fight people, the worse he'll get. I know Hatton's done the same and seemingly got away with it, but there are many fighters who don't.

    Seriously, I fear for Pacman.

Not really, he's going to probably stick at 140 fight Hatton and JMM, then done.

Or maybe Money after Hatton, then done.

If Floyd comes out of retirement soon I bet Roach advises Manny to take a fight against Floyd instead of Hatton or anyone else for that matter. Reason being, Roach will know if Manny were to beat Floyd, that would do more for his legacy than beating anyone else.

For what its worth I think Floyd beats Pacquiao. Floyd's too gifted, too naturally talented. Forget Pacquiao-Hatton, I wanna see Pacquiao-Mayweather more than any other fight out there!

    Please come back Floyd!

he was 142 without even trying to reduce weight. how hard will it be to go back to 140? he could do that by skipping breakfast.

Pacman's fighting weight was 148.5lbs, not far from his last fighting weight against Diaz (147lbs?). So he will just do the same thing that he did before. Skip the meals for 2 days, which he did not do in this fight.

I agree, though a rerematch with JMM tickles my fancy too.

I agree apart from the naturally gifted bit. His whole family were teaching him how to box before he could walk.

Arum is not about to do mayweather any favors. Arum will tell floyd when he inevitably decides to return, go fight Cotto or Margarito, then you can fight Manny. Forget about Pac vs. floyd. Pac has plenty of other options.

Pac man looked so much thicker in set but 140lbs would be no problem. Hatton vs Pacman does not interest me...............Mayweather vs Pacman at 140lbs would be a SERIOUS fight. In fact Legendary.

Hatton would be like David Diaz. Floyd interests me more.
