My boy looked good for the first 2 to 3 rounds. He applied the pressure and was able to get though Abraham's defense now and then. But, like I have said, Abraham is one tough ******* and hard to hurt. Abraham took the punches well and let Miranda get a little tired and confident. Miranda walked into that right hand early in the forth and I dont think he was able to shake it off. Soon after that huge left hook was all it took. I was surprised Edison was able to get up from that! He showed heart, but I think he was physically done at that point. The last shot that ended it, didnt look so bad, but I cant argue with the stoppage. Edison looked fine shortly after (unlike Pavlik where he really got hurt and took a brutal punishment). The future is going to hard now. He will need to once again rebuild his name and confidence to get another big fight. I will always be a fan and support him, but after 2 big KO loses to two of the best P4P hitters out there, who knows if he will ever be the same and compete at the top level. After the fight I talked to Pantera and he said he has never felt power so strong before. He said the shots he took felt like a basball bat had hit him in the head. The first fight he says Abraham's punches didnt bother him much, but last night it was a whole different power. So to all you supporters, it was a great win for you. If he gets his wish and fights Pavlik, I say he Arthur wins. I still am not sold on Kelly, but Abraham is just too tough. I dont know if he can be hurt. Kelly leaves himself open, and Abraham will connect. I am looking forward and hope it happens. Should be a great fight either way. I am not going to be reading through the many threads about the fight. If you have something to say to me say it here.:good
Very interesting. Is he stronger now? Is it the weight? I don't know? :think Well done for manning up anyway
Good to see you back around. I've always wanted Abraham to win but I've taken a bit of a shine to Miranda through his trash talking, normally I hate it but I think he's hilarious.
i'm just gonna say that all those guys who said you had bailed from the forum after the fight were dead wrong
props for coming back man... miranda will be back, maybe not at a high level, but hes fun to watch and gives it his all.
Answers regarding that fake rumor can be found here: http://www.eastsideboxing.com/news.php?p=16222&more=1 ---- To Pantera, glad to see you back with that post and my apologies for thinking you won't come back. :good
What an *******! I got the whole scoop on that. Arthur is a very nice and respectable person. At the post press conference he had nothing but kind words for Edison 'Pantera is a great boxer and good for the sport. We need more like him'. But his brother is a lunitic! Here's what happened: He was the first in the ring after the stoppage (eventhough you are supposed to the the doctors first enter after a stoppage). After a quick congratulations to his brother he got in Miranda's face (who was still on the canvas) and started screaming at him and kicking his legs. He was telling him he was going to kill him and then he ran over to the Pantera Team and started saying he will kill all of you! Well, in Miranda's team there were 2 other professional fighters and one bad ass corner guy. Plus a UFC fighter was also there who is a friend. Luckily security was able to hold these guys back from a huge fight in the ring. Alex was taken by security out of the ring and stadium. He ran from the police who wanted to question him. He was found by some of the team and a fight started in the casino with Alex and security. He was finally brought down by police and arrested. Abraham is being fined $100,000 for all of this since it was part of his team and is responsible for his actions. What a ***** his brother is. He was previously arrested in some other country for a knife fight or something. Too bad he had to cause negitive issues after a great win for his brother.
I hope your fighter will make a great comeback! :thumbsup Until then, please keep up with your great support. It's a tough job on these disrespectful forums, especially if the favoured fighter loses bad. But hey, you are much more involved in boxing emotionally than most of the users, and that's the difference between 'just a fan' and a 'true fan'. The true fans share not only success but defeat as well... but stay as loyal fans despite the loss... I expect nothing less than that from you P2K! Cheer up buddy! :rasta
