It's the one's you don't see that can get you. Pavlik walked right through many of Miranda's hardest punches. He does not have a chin problem. Taylor's shots are very fast and KP didn't see some of those punches in round 2. AA's punches are powerful but not as fast or straight as Taylor's and KP will see them coming. Taylor would have easily defeated Miranda as well, as we may eventually see on TV.

But I agree that no one KO's King Arthur. Especially with all those bolts holding his jaw together. Should be a great fight.

Miranda needs to improve his technique overall if he wants to take it to the next level. He has a lot of talent.

Even when Calzaghe retired around the middleweight division we will still have Abraham, Pavlik and Kessler. Although I think Kessler KO's the both of them.

Now that Fightnews and many other sites confirm it you still think Sauerland might be lying and your friends in the crowd know better? :huh

I just can't believe it went down like that. It all happened so quick! Yea, Miranda looked impressive the first couple of rounds and then all went down here for Miranda. The future at the moment doesn't look to bright for Miranda, but I wish him the best.

Yea i can see what you mean. He never ties his opponent up when he gets in trouble. he didnt tie pavlik either he backs up when his opponent starts their assault.
I still think he could use a new trainer. Sometimes if you learn one thing new it can make a huge difference.
Anyway as a fan of boxing and a fan of mirandas this loss hurts me the most. Even more then the pavlik fight. I really hope to see him back at the top and not some journeyman. Hes better then that!

Miranda did look impressive and active but he was actually lost, hence the lowblow in the 2nd round to **** Abraham off and get him to open up. Abraham's trainer did a great job of telling him when to open up a bit.

The press release is not fake, but it is a press release, NOT NEWS.

That's why I'm waiting for more to be sure, right now it's 2 different people telling us opposite stories, kind of typical. There were far more people there that saw what happened and everything should be clear soon. I have the full fight with post fight interviews..etc and didn't run into any scenes where it was getting out of hand otherwise they would've filmed that or at least mentioned it considering it happened right after the fight. Would rather not point fingers and take sides till I'm sure, that's all.

These sites all post press releases from promoters. They dont and cant verify that everything is a fact. Wait to see what the investigation from the State of Florida comes up with. I saw enough when I was there and what Nate says is true. Alex started this crap and then Team Miranda responded. But nothing else happened IN the stadium. What happened in the casino before Alex was arrested I heard was pretty brutal. Alex got what was coming to him.

Very classy of you to come here and give props to AA Pantera.
Miranda looked very good the first 2 a 3 rounds and then it just all came to a close in a flash... but much like you Miranda was all class in the post fight interview... no excuses just "too good".
As much as i normally dislike the trash talk ... Miranda was actually quite catchy in the buildup.

I was wondering though ... at the end he said something along the lines that he would like to get back to his "normal" weight.... did he mean back down to 160 or back up 168? ... 166 seemed fine for him though .. as he said he felt strong, or do you think 166 is about his limit?

All the best to Miranda in the future and to you supporting him!

pantera's weakness is his defense.. abraham knocked him down by throwing haymakers that he should have seen coming..but boy abraham could punch like a mule
