Hopkins is a legend for sure, can't believe that guy is 43 yrs old. Kelly better go back down to 160 and think of the things he should improve. One can learn so much from Bhops, hope Pavlik understands.

It sucks, but it is what it is. Kelly will be back at 160 and as strong as ever.

    Thanks for asking.

Did you make it to AC?

No excuses to make. It was what it was. Kelly needs to stay at 160 until he decides to make the jump and then take 6 months to put on the proper weight.

And Edison Miranda blamed his nutritionist after this fight with AA. I think at this level, he HAS to believe there was something he could have done differently. For a while I have wondered if he needed more training than just Jack Lowe.

Any time Joe wants to come to 160, I'm sure Kelly would be willing. :yep

AA couldn't make weight AND stay healthy doing it. I'm not sure about this one now.

Trinidad already turned down his shot. Said NO way he would come down to 160 to fight Pavlik. He might reconsider now.

Bernard was just phenomenal. I was floored at his performence. I just needed to see one round and I knew that it wasn't going to be Kellys night. I was happy for Bernard though. A feather in his cap. I think a rematch with RJJ and call it a day. I really wouldn't be surprised if Hopkins won that then went to Cruiser for another title.

Even with Kelly being the local, I found myself admiring Hopkins during the fight. No doubt about that. :deal

I still think Kelly's height advantage is just too great for AA. And AA come out throwing as many punches as Bhop? :blood

    Dream on.

Calzaghe will beat RJJ. You know I have no hate for Pavlik but I have told you and Booradley for MONTHS that this was waiting to happen, I have gone into detail about technical flaws that have been mocked and derided by Pavlik fans on here and it was all shown on Saturday.

It was not Hopkins suddenly performing better than ever, it was him doing what he did to Tarver and what he would do to any other slow, predictable fighter.

Pavlik will win a world title again and be back for sure, but remember I said it and mark it down, if he goes to Super Middle he gets done by Kessler, done by Froch and done by Bute.

You will laugh it off, but when Calzaghe beats RJJ maybe you will start to think that you don't judge these things as well as you thought.

Calzaghe would THRASH Pavlik. UD, every round to Calzaghe.
