Great performance from Froch!! I thought Bute looked like the cobra in there. IMO Bute looked deadly with clearly more speed than Froch. But in the end Froch unexpected angles, awkward style and huge strength were the difference. He also used his reach well with the jab. My heart was saying Froch but my mind Bute. Froch did it!!! Bring on Froch vs Kessler 2!!!

Are you ****ing ******ed? both Lewis fights ended with him being way on top and losing concentration then getting sparked Froch won every second of the fight and absolutely brutalised Bute if they fight again Froch wins easier and earlier.

Froch should be able to buyout the rematch, the rematch isn't needed.

I stayed on the fence, but last minute was leaning towards Bute.

I thought if Carl was gonna do it, it'd be because Bute might gas late.

Carl just straight brought the ass whoopin' though.

Much congrats to the NEW IBF Champion of the World. :good

Glad that Froch proved me wrong. That Kessler rematch must be done...that's the only way he's gonna get back to Ward.

Great win by Froch. Major props. I thought Bute was going to be the aggressor and walk Froch into shots when coming forward, but I overestimated Bute's defensive ring generalship. Froch was landing the lead right at will by the 4th, and closed the distance with outside lead foot positioning really well. The things his trainer was telling him to work on in the gym certainly paid off.

Very noble and generous offer Pimp C, but if you won't pick one for me, I'll pick one for myself.

    Merely kidding mate.

I said prior to the fight, even if Bute leaves England without his belt, he leaves with my admiration and respect.

Nothing but respect for the man, sorry to see his bubble burst in such devastating fashion, but thats boxing. I am sure Bute has made good money and if he wants, he can rebound from this devastating loss.
