    Nelson was completely unproven at 135, Duran would have landed far more power shots than Whitaker did, he was better than Nelson in every department and beat a welterweight who was one of the most dangerous fighters of that era, nothing Nelson did in his career can match that.

    Some recent fights in the UK have generated plenty of money (Fury-Whyte, Joshua-Usyk, etc) - more than most fights in the USA.

    Nearly everybody in the UK knows who Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua are, but only a small percentage of Americans have ever heard of Jermell Charlo or Devin Haney.

    US biggest Pay Per views tend to beat biggest UK ones also because pricing points different. Big bouts in Las Vegas generate the most moolah.
