This past two fights i have said it as soon as the fights were made that they meant nothing for his legacy. I never once even had the thought that he would lose these fights so how do they make him better. Im sure no one who knows boxing thoughts Floyd was in danger of losing either fight.

I'm a huge Cotto fan, but i will give Floyd his props. He put on a great performance. He showed ricky hatton to be the one dimensional fighter that he is. He is nothing but a 2nd coming of John Ruiz. Hatton is terrible. He has minimal skills. I honestly believe that paulie malignalli can beat hatton. Hatton smothers his punches way too much to be effective.

I am not now, nor have I ever been a Ricky Hatton fan. I expected pbf to prove concusively that he can beat a good (not great just good) junior welterweight. It comes as no surprise that he did. However, many of us who are active in this forum were boxing fans 2 decades before you were born. We know greatness when we see it, and pbf ain't it!

Stop right there. Floyd is the favorite in any fight up to 154. Floyd's supposed to win because he's the best fighter today. If you know anything about boxing and pick against Floyd, you're an idiot. Period.

I'm not buying what you are selling. PBF has more than proven his mettle tonight.

I get it he is a great fighter! I'm not saying he is not just that the competition he has faced is not good enough to challenge him.
And I would pick Cotto and Williams to beat Floyd.

Floyd's # 1. He shouldnt be chasing ne fights, they should be chasing him. Let Cotto, Williams, and Cintron all fight each other to see who gets a crack at Mayweather.

YEA but isnt Floyd trying to convince everyone he is the greatest ever. The pressure is on him to prove that to us. The way to do that would be to wipe out the Welter Weight Division not just fight one of them. This Division is loaded and anyone who wipes it out will be remembered forever. Not to mention filthy rich with all the money that can be made from it.
