Congratulations to George Groves

Wasn't my points dismissed,plenty of other people's,in fact anyone who didn't agree. I'm not bothered if you or I were about the result but to act in the way you were with people over how certain a Froch win was and then moan when pulled up on it is much like Froch himself.

 

There was a thread on the general where I had a big argument with a guy who predicted Groves would be KOd within 3 rounds.The guy said he has never even seen Groves fight but he still predicts Froch within 3.I explained what a good fighter George was and why he may give Carl a lot of problems early in the fight.I even posted two of Georges fights,his fight with Francisco Sierra and the Alcoba fight where he scored two sweet KOs.Since then the op has deleted the thread,so for you to say I was completely biased towards Froch and never gave George a hope is ridiculous.I rate Groves as a fighter I just though Carl Froch would deal with him a lot easier.Your just trying to give it the big un and tell people I told you so but you sound like a broken ****ing record and coming off very ******ed.

Why do you keep saying I'm telling people I told them so? I've already said I thought Froch would win but George surprised me. I've also said a few times to you now that I don't care I the prediction was right or wrong, so what exactly am I 'telling people so' ?

My issue is clear; you and Shenmue in threads were jumping on people's view Groves could win.
Maybe if I didn't have to repeat myself I wouldn't sound like a broken record eh

 

Westy if I recall Hearn Snr said the fight was intriguing because the two imponderables were how much Groves had improved and if Froch had slipped in any way......as you said both these were the crux of a great bout.

 

Stop repeating yourself and **** off then,I have no issue with saying I got it wrong but you are trying to twist things by saying I was mocking peoples opinions and jumping down their throats which was not the case.I was simply stating facts and giving reasons for my predictions,this is a forum where people disagree with each other all the time,its part of what makes coming on here fun and if you dont like it I suggest you **** off somewhere else.I was hoping for an exciting competitive fight and thats what we regardless got of the finish.

Well done George Groves, you boxed and fought a great fight last night and are worthy of a rematch. Also big congrats to Froch who again showed he is one of the toughest men pound for pound in the world of professional boxing. If the fight continued I believe Groves would have been stopped or maybe even ko'd badly. So could be a blessing in disguise the fight was stopped prematurely. He is young and will come again. Carl maybe should consider retirement soon, maybe one possibly two more fights as this game will catch up with him eventually, it could effect his long term health. He has nothing else to prove really, I'm a big fan of him and his resume but don't see the need tor him to carry on much longer.

 

So tell me again what 'I'm telling people so'?
