His overhand right was working great in that fight. Good show. Not sure how I feel about the winning of the title, but if anyone's going to do it, Morales might as well be the one, regardless of the circumstances.

Everybody is calling him the first Mexican to win a world title in four weight divisions. Didn't Jorge Arce already win that distinction?

was that before the diaz fight? cause i thought erik shouldve been crowned that 4title since i thought he did enough to win that particular match, so thought of it as sweet Justice, either way what Erik has done is Great, and such damn good way to cap off a stellar career.

He beat Cano. They handed him a title for beating a kid who had 74 total rounds of professional boxing. Surprised people really accept it as a title winning effort. First good guy he fights at 140 and he loses his title.

Not counted because one of the belt that he won was an interim.

Way after the Diaz fight. Although, I agree (I think he should have beaten Diaz) but I'm just confused as to why everybody is just forgetting the Arce victory.

It was a good win. He picked apart a good young fighter and Made his face look like a pizza. Hope to see him fight 3 or so more fights depending. Very proud of one of my favorite fighters.

That was a close one. But no it is four division WORLD title. Not an interm, Dimond or anything like that. Just WORLD titles in FOUR division. Now he broke that record. Good job Morales.

Morales was not suppose to be even fighting for that title. Had he been fighting Matthysse, I know he would've had trouble and lost. He was not the same as he was when he fought Maidana.

He is a legend and I like him, but this belt was just given. Anyone thinking othewise does not know boxing. :hi:

Congratulations, Morales! Been a fan of him and Guerrero since I first saw them fight- This entire under-card lived up to the caliber of it's original billing, which says a lot for the guys who took short notice. Morales was confident enough to get the stoppage. I'm hoping Cano is doing well and uninjured aside from the cuts, any indication of damage; ae. Kessler, Paulie, Margo....like a retinal tear or detachment?
