Mayweather wanted 10oz gloves. Manny got 8. Allegedly Mayweather wanted the fight at 154. Manny got 147. Manny imposed a rule saying if Mayweather came in over 147, he'd get a 10 mil penalty.

Baseball players aren't contrained by weight classes so obviously bulking up to a ridiculous degree beyond what they would normally be able to maintain will help with their power.
