I think Garcia would beat Benn too, although it would be very entertaining fight whilst it lasts.

If I was Hearn and Benns management I would put Benn into a fight next that would be Benns toughest challenge yet but would could be winnable fights e.g. Broner, Hooker and Martin. Then if successful move onto the real top guys like Garcia, Ennis and Ortiz etc.

Broner is similar to Khan in that him Vs Benn gives him absolutely nothing other than a pay day

I subbed to the ZONE for the GGG murata fight for £7.99 for one month, which will also give me the Canelo fight, immediately after which I'm un-subbing. Two ATGs for £7.99 an absolute no brainer for a hardcore boxing NUT like myself.

So I suppose I'll be watching that little runt connor BENNE mouthing off on my telly on saturday night, not seen alot of the kid other than him unloading on shot to pieces old retired algieri, and calling out shot to pieces old brook with eddie hearns sniggering away in the background.

From a marketing perspective it's the right path but from a boxing perspective it's shameful, it bothers me that they completely ducked Conor Benn vs any British welterweight and then serve us up trash like Algieri and Van Heerden. Makes it worse to have the cheek to say 'your above that level now'.

 

I have to say, it's going to be very satisfying when we see Benn in with someone dangerous, a bit like when Dave Allen said he was going for a World Title, could beat AJ and was going to stop Price in three only to get put in an ambulance and then, like the stereotypical fat Northern idiot that he is, pose in KFC with his bashed up cauliflower head the next day for Instagram. It's going to be as good as that and some.

 

The day Benn gets sparked out I might just stop watching boxing altogether. Nothing else will top it.
