British featherweight Connor Coghill is in "hospital after a bleed on his brain was discovered in the wake of his defeat by Hopey Price in Sheffield.

Coghill, 28, was knocked down four times as Leeds' Price won the WBA continental belt on 7 October."

    Hoping for a speedy recovery...

... Should the fight have been stopped sooner than the fourth knock down? I didn't watch it...

I only caught the last few rounds but I was thinking to myself why is the ref allowing this to continue in round 12 when it was so obvious Coghill was done and was only going to take more punishment and go down again.

That's ****ed up for the young man.

Anyone crying about 'British stoppages' will really care once the doctors finally ban our sport.

I would rather see a hundred fights stopped too soon, than one stopped too late

    4 KDs....

A little unusual they only find the bleed a week after the fight though

Like I said, I only caught the last few rounds but he was dropped at least twice if not three times during those rounds and I knew he was going to keep going down if the ref let it continue
