I'm not an mma fan at all. But I'm from Ireland and conor McGregor seems to have the whole country behind him. This is just jump on the band wagon of course when he loses a lot of fans will drop off. He is a big thrash talker and the whole country seems to be believing the hype. As I know nothing about mma I am interested in hearing some Americans perspective of him. Is he as good as the hype suggests? He has impressed so far but he has only fought bums so far. Apparently he has his first real test on Saturday night in Vegas. Do people think he will win?

I dunno. He seems to kick a lot. Dunno how he'd get on boxing. Haven't seen him be challenged in a fight so far. He'd probably make more from mma cause he's backed by a terestial Irish station. Where's Irish tv has no intentions of ever show in boxing again. Hasn't been a fight on an Irish station since Bernard dunne lost his title to poonswatt. There doesn't even be boxing on here. Only up the north.

His opponent Poirer is no joke. Mcgregor has looked sensational lately but the UFC has matched him with cans. The fight on saturday will answer a lot of questions.

This guy is a really good fighter. Probably the most marketable and interesting fighter in the UFC.

I see why. He can beat top 5 mma fighters without breaking a sweat. Must be a great life.

You are a horrible poster. Please stop talking to me. You must have missed the strikes BEFORE that one that wobbled him.

You must have missed Pea head's entire career. DROPPED by Akira Corrisani. HURT multiple times by Jonathan Brookins.

    Like I said. ZERO chin.

:hi: Goodbye sucka. You should book an appointment with an optometrist if you couldn't see that obvious shot behind the head that put him down.

Piorier is legit make no mistake about that he's top 5 maybe top 6 in the world in his weight class. This isn't boxing with 10ounce gloves on just because you get hurt by shots with those gloves on does not mean you have a 'glass chin' no one has ever come close to blasting him out of there like mcgregor just did.

He could potentially be one of the biggest stars mma has ever seen I just wish boxing had a star coming through with his potential
