UFC is making itself look bush league , they don't respect the guys who got them to where they are now . Aldo , Edgar these guys laid it on the line many times and now the UFC is making 145 a confused mess . If a belt-holder moves up in weight then he gives up the belt . It's simple and right to respect all the veterans at 145 .

Diaz will beat Conjob again , Nate will be better defensively , let the wee man shoot his load early again , then take over . Nate better get his million dollar payday . The UFC better start paying it's fighters properly or Bellator will take over .

If it's true this is a poor move by the ufc. Diaz is too tough and experienced for Mcgregor. There isn't anything he can learn in 4 months thats going make much of a difference. At least if he lost to Edgar or Dos Anjos they could say he got beat by a great fighter but getting whipped 2x by Diaz (who let's face it is a high level journeyman nowadays) will destroy any credibility he had left.

The UFC will cash in on another McGregor rematch, Aldo vs Edgar is a big fight and then they can cash in on McGregor again when he goes back down. If he goes back down and loses the gravy train is over.

UFC is now taking out all the worst aspects of boxing and adding some new ones.

This is even worse than Mayweather-style cherrypicking, at least Mayweather had to work hard to get to the top. McGregor had to beat some bouncers, taxi drivers and football hooligans in Europe to get signed with the UFC and then he was protected all the way to the title shot. In a division full of grapplers UFC somehow matched him up with strikers only. He avoided grapplers like Edgar, Llamas, Oliveira and fought Mendes on 2 weeks notice. Mendes only accepted that fight because UFC gave him 500.000$ to show up to basically lose (he gassed out because he was on short notice). As for the title fight itself UFC dragged Aldo to a huge media tour where he was humiliated and had to endure a lot of trash talk, breaking him mentally before the fight.

After he won the title McGregor doesn't give a damn about defending it, he just cherrypicks opponents from different divisions who don't present stylistic threat to him.

So much about "the best fighting the best" in the UFC.

Conor is the biggest con artist in the history of combat sports. At least Ronda got an Olympic bronze medal in a legit sport.

wow, I thought Conor annoyed me

true but lets not forget he is a world class striker and was never a push over, the UFC cant totally create the hype from nothing.

That said, yes the hype got out of control the last two years.
