Conor Been Cleared By UKAD

Pathetic

 

Predictably baffling and disappointing outcome that is about as clear as mud to decipher.

 

I recall drummer boy Molina being selected as Breazeale's WBC eliminator opponent whilst Molina was serving a UKAD ban.

Or more recently Zolani Tete tested positive with UKAD after a world title fight and that seems to have just been brushed under the carpet.

So, I wouldn't worry, as it seems if foreign fighters test positive with UKAD, it isn't a big deal either.

When are the BBBofC going to make a statement?

In Benn's interview with Piers Morgan not long back, he said “They filed 7 misconduct charges against me" and I'm pretty sure Benn was referring to the BBBofC.

Assuming that's the case, what was the outcome of all those charges?

The British Boxing Board of Control is aware that Conor Benn issued a public statement today, 28th July 2023, in relation to proceedings between UK Anti-Doping and him. The BBBofC refers to the statement published in response by UKAD at https://www.ukad.org.uk/news/statement-uk-anti-doping-conor-benn-vada-test

The BBBofC will provide a further statement if and when able to do so. All enquiries regarding this matter should be directed to UK Anti-Doping.

My conclusion : This aint over.

 

I had a thought I know it wouldn't be right to give the cheat a title shot but how good would it be to see Crawford fight Benn next and punish this arrogant cheat.
