He's faster than Norman, less technical skills but more unorthodox, just as big and also on the roids like Garcia. They need to fight, Benn could beat him. I also think Karen Chukhadzhian would beat Haney, he's pretty good too and has the best footwork at 147
Haney beats Karen pretty easily. Benn doesn't have the punch power to beat Haney. As soon as he dropped the eggs, he was hitting C-grade fighters with the kitchen sink and not putting a dent in them. Haney has better footwork than Karen, and so does Catterrall. There's nothing particularly special about Karen, and if he were in a half-decent division, he would be nowhere near world level.
A swarmer like Benn can definitely beat Haney, despite the different in skill level. He will never let Haney take breaks and will always be throwing with bad intentions, crowding his space, taking away the jab for long moments. Won't be easy to clinch him for prolonged periods either.
Haney outpoints Benn. Pretty easily. Would probably KO him, but Devin lacks that killer instinct. Winning by decision appears to be enough.
Didn't Benn just recently get schooled by a 35 Chris Eubank Jr. And had to had two cracks to beat him by decision?
I would favor Haney based off his skills and big fight experience, but Benns explosiveness would definitely give Haney some problems. That would be s significant fight in the WW division. Hopefully they can make it happen.
Wait till Benn goes up against a young fighter in their prime and your going to see what he really is. People tend to overlook that Eubank is close to FORTY YEARS OLD and has had his best days long ago.
