Against static, immobile fighters he does look 'sharp, powerful (ish) and precise'. But against a fighter with good movement and/or ring IQ, I suspect all his sharpness and precision will be lost in thin air - very much like CEJ in this respect. You've made the mistake of grafting an eye-catching performance against a faded gatekeeper - two wins and three losses from previous six fights - onto a match-up with an elite level talent.
Thank you, how do we know that Benn isn't skilled? You are probably going off of that Peynaud fight when he got dropped, but Benn didn't have a long amateur career and has been learning on the job, so he was never going to look great early on in his career, if he had an amateur career then he probably wouldn't've struggled with Peynaud, but he learned from that fight and it is very clear that he has improved massively since then
we do not know is he skilled or isn't. Looks that best boxer he had in the ring already had been finished by some boxers in distance. The same Vergil, Spence Jr had finished this boxer in distance etc. For sure Benn till today did not had fought top 100 boxer. Maybe he is very good, we do not know. Needs to be tested.
Yes he does. Conor Benn is being simultaneously overrated/underrated. We don't even know what his actually level is lol. I think it's clear as day he is better than McKinson though. Like his dad the power is real. We are just remembering him as the boy that couldn't punch a hole through wet paper. Conor is a man now and has man strength. Also like his dad he don't have the whiskers but he has massive balls. Determination and will power can make up for chin to some degree. It will be interesting to see how his career plays out from here.
