Its not unusual for fighters to be fighting in the div higher than they would do at championship weight I think your right...you could tell in the post ringside interview, he was suffering concussion
I know that, but all the talk has been of them looking at moving him through the ranks and title levels at Welter... He started off at super lightweight and moved up by seemingly stacking on muscle, obviously looking for power. but he's fighting men who are coming down from super welter natural to make welter... In this situation normally they are referred to as their title weight in the build ups, for example Josh Kelly is promoted and spoke of as a welterweight (which he will be when he gets to titles) but for now he's fighting Super Welter.
Kell Brook said he could be a leading star of British boxing. He can't, because he's ****. He doesn't deserve the push he is getting at all, not even a little bit. He isn't even at area level and he said so himself. No one is having a go at his decision to fight with Matchroom, people are moaning at them for pushing this fighter who isn't any good and constantly make excuses for him. It's all done because he'll get them money because ****ing idiots will happily watch him take up space on cards. I want him to lose for that very reason. So the hyperbole stops and someone better can get that air time instead of watching someone struggle to the Welterweight champion of Luxembourg. Sorry if that makes me a hater bro x
Nigel Benn: “There is no point thinking this needs changing, that needs changing, because it doesn't. He won, he learned so much, so now he just needs to chill out." He didn’t win though, Nigel. Your son was gifted a decision and he looks like he’s been in a car crash. I don’t care if you think he has heart, so what, i’d rather my son had brains to be honest.
Better face the challenge now rather than in an important fight in the future. Showed the heart just like his fathers
I remember when eubanks jnr was 10/11 fights in, we were all saying the same about him. "Hes got no experience" "hes trading off his dads name', "hell get found out when he steps up" Jnr was never dropped like conor last night but we were all saying he will struggle at british level and look where jnr is now
One things a defo, if you fight like that all your career then it will be a short career and your brain won’t be in best condition either. You have to have a defence in Boxing to get to the top and young Benn thinks having a war from the first bell is his defence.
If everyone gets behind Conor Benn will you get behind your country man Conor McGregor? Only fair like! Deal? huh huh huh len?
