I will probably get slated by the usual suspects who will say "Conor was fighting a bum" but what do you expect, the kid is only 4 fights in after a very short amateur career. With that being said he passes the eye test well so far, was throwing crisp sharp punch combinations last night so there is no doubt that the talent is there. He does look small for a WW though, I think he will be better suited at 140 rather than 147.
Agreed. He looked much better than his first outings. I'd prefer it if he did his learning fights somewhere out of the spotlight but that's not his fault. Improving, good aggressive attitude, plenty to like this early in his career. It'll be interesting to watch him develop. Of course, haters gotta hate so I'm sure the forum's children will be here soon to sound off.
It was a decent display, but he is still young and still facing very weak competition. He showed some improvement, but still to soon to say if he got what it takes to become a top contender.
Still young and very raw so let's give the kid a chance. Only thing I'm worried about is that he's gonna have a short career even if successful as he's gonna be all action so will be in lots of wars. But that's great as long as he doesn't get hurt.
