1) Putting promoters on the hook for purses/training costs of those cheated by PED users would end the use of PEDS overnight.
2) Seeing Conor Benn splattered by a decent welterweight will make 2026 worth living.

I guess the sticking point could be when both fighters are under the same promotion but something NEEDS to be done and this would be a step in the right direction for sure

Imagine your an up and coming fighter offered or thinking of going down the PED route what case has there been over recent times (there’s been a few) that would deter you from going that way??? Nothing, there has literally been no substantial punishments dished out to any of these PED cheats, even worse there’s now proven blueprints for how to cheat the system, it’s disgusting and we wonder why the sports in the state it’s in…

Imagine kicking off at a fairly passive old man.

 

If they were both under the same company the same would apply. The promoters would insert clauses into contracts meaning they can ultimately seek to recover this money from the cheating fighter.

 

If he is going to kick off at an old man, at least go for someone like Big John Fury.
