Just had a look on the socials. Benn has put up a thank you post to Hearn and Matchroom but nothing on Hearn nor Smith’s accounts yet to acknowledge the move.

This is hilarious. Just watch the narrative switch now from Hearn. He’ll be saying Benn has no chance against Stevenson.

In terms of entertainment this far exceeds anything Benn has done in the ring; a live PPV stream of Eddie's face right now would do incredible numbers.

Haha. When Dana White made that “it’s like beating up babies” statement at the weekend he’d have had this up his sleeve. He’s absolutely dog walked Hearn here and Benn has shown his true character again as all of us know on here.

 

What the hell? I did not see this coming! I'm not Hearn's biggest fan, but Eddie dragged his own reputation through the gutter to get Benn through the whole PED controversy, and he leaves him now? Damn, that is cold!

 

I almost feel sorry for Eddie here.

Hearn absolutely ruined his own reputation to stand by Benn and the first big win Benn gets he bins him off. To Zuffa too, who Hearn has been slating all week

On a side note, Benn has proved himself to be an absolute rat but we all knew that. I can’t stand Hearn but Benn should be naming his next kid Eddie for the way he’s backed him.
