Sound like a broken record, but the pair of them lost any credibility or ability to take the moral high ground the moment they took the money to be the faces and voices of Dirty DK’s laundering front. It’s astounding that they’ve got away with that with no damage to their rep, and still get so much mainstream airtime with the likes of BBC, TNT and TalkSport.
I used to really enjoy listening to fight disciples up until they changed their schedule a few years back and then started charging a fee for everything. I stopped listening at that point. if he was briefed, then he should have let someone else at talksport conduct the interview. If they were his questions, then he **** himself when sat in front of Benn.
There are plenty of shills in Talksport that would happily have done it. I dont buy the "i am so disappointed in myself" blah blah. By doing that is trying to play the humble/humility card. He is a paid for mouthpiece, he should just own it like all the others

Benn leaving is probably the best publicity Hearn could have hoped for. Over the past few years Hearn has rubbed a lot of people up the wrong way and his stance over Benn's drug tests have really pissed a lot of fans off. As you say, the situation at the moment with Benn is making him look like the good guy
All that talksport bunch and a few other are just mouthpieces for Turki. For years they have been doing this and manipulated the people who listen to the show. im not sure if it’s because of turki or someone else, but they are strangely loyal to fury/warren too

Guaranteed he'll talk about mental health and try and be "Mr Nice guy ". He's got to do his own PR now as Eddie won't be doing it for him, TalkSport now the Overlap, he's going to have to work very hard if he wants to get people to like him, because Matchroom fans are like Taylor Swift fans and they hate him, the rest of us think he's a bit of sausage for failing those drug tests. If Benn was remotely intelligent or had any kind of EQ, he’d lean right into going full heel and just be the bad guy. But he won’t. His old man will be feeding him the script and “reformed” Nigel will probably have him turning up with a bible trying to play Mr Nice Guy. At this stage it’s either one or the other, because he seems lost from who he actually is. Next time he’s in with someone who can really get under his skin pre-fight, like Garcia or Shakur, they’ll live in his head. Without Eddie holding his hand like he did around the Eubank fights, he’ll revert to type. He’s like his old man in that sense, but without the get-out-of-jail power, or without the PEDs at least. Eubank Jr already kind of exposed that streak, the same way his dad did with Nigel. And Neville will be a puppet on The Overlap, he’ll go easy on him.
