Who wins? I think Broner. Although not at his best, I think his experience at world level will help him and he's never been knocked out before, despite fighting some big punchers (Pacman, Porter & Maidana).
I reckon Benn wins this. Broner was not the greatest fighter but he's gotten even worse over the years imo. Benn is stronger, younger and wants it more. Broner is there for the taking.
Would have to say benn right now, broner was never a top welterweight in his pomp and he's finished nowadays.
A man going after all the belts then calling out Shell Brook, Amir Con and Impotent Boner - he is now renamed Connor When
I don't follow the notion that Broner has ever been a top Welter, in the big fights I've seen him in he's been totally outclassed & reckon Benn outworks him to a decision win pretty comfortably...who has been his best win? For a guy that's had a lot of fights....it's probably Paulie?
Pauline and de marco are probably his best wins, every other belt he picked up were vacant gimme's against 2nd rate plodders.
Paulie arguably beat him and that was an over the hill Paulie years ago. Broner won't get stopped, he's tough and he knows how to survive, he also won't throw much. Anything less than a stoppage tells us nothing about Benn.
I'd never class Porter as a big puncher Broner was always poor at welterweight, he's been inactive and progressively looking worse in recent years. The timing is perfect for a Benn win.
Its just another Broner fight to fleece his fans. He won't throw any punches and get paid loads for it. Got a gift against Malignaggi years ago to win a belt.
Paulie definitely beat Broner that night. Broner is actually a fantastic fighter his problem is he throws 15 punches per fight! So hard to watch it’s not a master class it’s just boring, same with old Hopkins. Broner has the potential to school Benn but he’s not bothered nowadays. Can’t see him fighting Benn either, the money isn’t there. Broner will want 2-3M surely.
