Broner is a 4-weight world champion and had a 300-19 amateur record. He is definitely more talented than Conor Benn.

Jorge Arce is a 4 weight world champion. Big deal. Everyone starts their pro career with a championship belt nowadays.

Broner was a low volume shot fighter 5 years ago when he was beaten by Mickey Garcia.

A young hungry high output fighter at British/European level like Benn is going to lay waste to him.

Benn needs to stop feasting on name recognition semi retired has beens. He has had 3 in a row now.

Broner's been sitting around too long. My vote is more about the diminished state of Broner than the ability of Benn.

No all Broner has is a left hook, he`s not a dangerous fighter, he`s very negative, Benn would put him in a shell on the backfoot.

Benn would have beaten every fighter Broner beat below 147, Broner hasn`t been impressive at welter, cut off the three round amateur fights and the fights below welter and that`s a bad resume,Broner was not a good welter all he ever had was a left hook, Conor`s got more offensive tools. Broner never won olympic gold so was unproven at that level in the amateurs, he never beat the best at amateur level and amateur fights are only three rounds, Conor would destroy ever amateur Broner fought because he`s a toop pro contender, it`s different level and Broner is only effective against small fighters, Conor is a better finisher than anyone Broner has beaten.

I'd love to see one on the most likeable characters in boxing in Benn splatter one of the most disliable in Broner around the ring.

Conor Benn needs to fight Avanesyan, Brook or even Mikey Garcia. He needs a taste of power, and to fight some actual talent. He’s fought guys that have been in with some legit talents, but not a guy that has ever been a legit talent.

That’s the move to make, although I’d suggest he also get a trainer that can teach him some fundamentals and layer him.

He started much earlier in the sport than Benn. He was developing and polishing his talent, gaining experience and polishing a skillset, from being a small boy. That makes a big difference. Benn has plenty of raw talent, but has been playing catch-up with boxing.

However, the talent debate is probably a moot point, since Broner has been betraying his talent for much of the last decade and is now in his early thirties, whereas Benn is living the life and working his talent hard (notwithstanding whatever criticisms we make of the careful matchmaking, of which Benn-Broner would only be just one more example).

Broner can conceivably win, but he needs to roll the years back and find a level of desire and focus that is probably beyond him at this point. Benn should work him over, at the expense of taking a sporadic good shot to the kisser whenever Broner discovers a momentary flash of the old ambition.

It's a decent fight not sure what Broner has in the tank and has always been low in output. I would rather Benn fought someone younger more active with some pop in their punches It's easy to look good if your fighting old guys and journymen.
